Welcome to Christ’s American Baptist Church! We’re a hometown church with big hearts for Jesus. We’re so glad you’ve taken the time to learn more about us. We want to help you feel welcomed when you walk through our doors for the first time. Our greeters and ushers are available to answer any questions and assist you upon your arrival. We also want you to feel connected to the CABC community. Here is some additional information to help you plan your first visit.

When does service start?

We meet together at 9:00am every Sunday for worship followed by a Sunday School hour at 10:30am with classes for the whole family.

What should I wear?

CABC dress code is…come as you are! If you like to dress up for Jesus on Sundays…great. If you want to feel comfortable in your blue jeans…we’ll probably join you. If you overslept and come in sweatpants…we’ll welcome you just the same. We don’t care how you dress when you walk through our doors, we’re just glad you’re here!

What programs do you have for children and youth?

Our children’s ministry, CABC Highway Kids, provides childcare for infants through 6th grade during service and hosts age-appropriate classes during the Sunday School hour. All children must be checked-in by an adult at our new Motel 66 Check-in center located in our gym. Volunteers are available to help you check in and direct you to where your children will need to go. You can learn more about our children’s ministry and further ways to connect here.
Our youth are encouraged to worship with their families during worship service. During the Sunday School hour, teens are invited to come together for a deeper look into God’s Word and how to practically apply it in their lives today. You can learn more about our Pulse youth program and other events offered throughout the week and year here.

What programs do you have for adults?

Our School of Christian Living is our adult Sunday school classes offered at 10:30am. New classes and topics are offered throughout the year. Various Bible studies and connection opportunities outside of Sunday morning are also available for adults. Our Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry groups include Bible study opportunities as well as special events and connection opportunities throughout the year. Learn more on our Adult Ministries page.

How can I better connect?

We hope you’ll join us on a Sunday to learn more about us firsthand! Our welcome greeters would love to talk to you before or after service and answer any other questions you may have. You can also fill out our Connection Survey to help us learn more about you and where you’d like to connect here at CABC!
Always feel free to contact us any day with any additional questions, comments or prayer concerns.
