special events bp

CABC has a heart for children in our community. Which is why we host about a half dozen different programs throughout the year to share the love of Jesus with those who may not get to experience this important truth each week! Here’s what’s coming up…

Easter Family Fun Day

April 13, 2019 (2-5pm)
Easter is the most important day of the year because Jesus our Savior rose from the dead! Easter Family Fun day is an afternoon of adventure and exploration through the final days of Jesus. Stories, activities, crafts, and yummy treats fill the day for all families. A fun Easter Egg hunt concludes the day with a final blast of fun!

A2J & Frogger Fun Nights

1st Friday – 7-9pm (Oct-May)
Fun Nights are open to children in grades 3rd through 6th. Games, snacks, and a short devotional make every night fun, exciting, and engaging. New friends are always welcome!
A2J= Addicted 2 Jesus (5-6 Graders)
Frogger= Fully Rely On God (3-4 Graders)

Down Syndrome Camp

Our annual Down Syndrome Camp began with one of our own church members whose son was born with Down Syndrome. Each year, CABC hosts over 100 special needs children and their siblings for a week of fun and love. Each night is focused around a new theme that shares God’s love with each camper!

Fall Fest & Trunk-or-Treat
CABC Fall Fest and Trunk-or-Treat is an all-church outreach event set up to engage children of all ages. 2017 was the first year of the combined event with close to 300 children and families in attendance. Food, games, crafts, races, costume contests, train rides, and more! Trunk-or-treating provides families with a safe alternative for children to collect their candy treasures this time of year too.
Chrismon Tree Decorating Night
CABC hosts lots of fun opportunities around the Christmas season, one of which being our annual Chrismon Tree decorating. Children help decorate our big sanctuary tree with special chrismons and learn about these special ornaments. Cookies, milk, and a special performance from the YADAH Puppets make the night extra fun and special.
